The DHL Stormers have announced Cheslin Kolbe’s homecoming after he left Japan’s Tokyo Sungoliath. It’s been a great journey for Cheslim as he left the Stormers back in 2017. Since he roamed the world, to France with Toulouse and Toulon, after his stay in France, he went to Japan, where he played for Sungoliath.
Leaving DHL Stormers as a promising youngster, Cheslin now returns home as a rugby legend. Over the years, he has won the Rugby World Cup twice and many other prestigious trophies.
Indeed, it is a special homecoming, and the DHL Stormers know exactly what Cheslin Kolbe will bring to the squad.
DHL STORMERS WELCOME CHESLIN KOLBE BACK HOME
Sharing on Instagram, DHL Stormers showed Cheslin Kolbe a lot of love.
“Cheslin Kolbe will be back where it all began in DHL Stormers colours from next season. 💙🩶” DHL Stormers said, announcing Cheslin for the next season.
On the contrary, Cheslin also showed his love by coming back home, where it all started, before moving abroad.
“The DHL Stormers are part of who I am, and I am grateful to be coming back at such an exciting time for the club”, Cheslin Kolbe said.
He also released a statement thanking Sungoliath for the love and time he had spent in Japan.
