Tyla King revealed his pregnancy in front of fans and Black Ferns after their win over Australia on 19 April 2026. It was a wonderful day as Tyla witnessed the Black Ferns lift the HSBC Hong Kong Sevens World Championship series trophy, a trophy she had lifted years ago.
On the day, Tyla took part in most of the activities, including doing the Haka from the stands. She also supported the team throughout the game with a lot of energy, which is uncommon among pregnant mothers.

After lifting the trophy, the Black Ferns went wild in celebrations, with hugs, kisses and dances all over. Among them was Tyla, who was at the centre of the celebrations with her big tummy.
As the celebrations continued, she removed her shirt, leaving her belly open, with the Black Ferns surrounding her. Undoubtedly, a great day, seeing her team win and enjoying the pregnancy journey, revealing it to fans and the Ferns.
Surely, she enjoyed the day and appreciated the invitation to be in Hong Kong. “Baby Kings’ first Hong Kong 7s was definitely one to remember 🖤🔥💯🎉🙌🏽!!” she shared on her Instagram.
“Thank you so much to @hksevens // @hkfcrugby for having me over again this year as an ambassador. What a 50th tourney it was!!” she continued showing her gratitude.
“Let’s hopefully run it back next year 😉🫡😆!!” Tyla finished looking ahead to the following competition.
