All Blacks captain Ardie Savea has finally landed in South Africa ahead of the test matches against the Springboks. It’s been a perfect tour so far since the All Blacks’ game against the DHL Stormers. They have won their games easily as they ramp up their preparations to face the world champions.
However, such a test is one for the books, and they needed Ardie Savea as fresh and ready as possible. Coach Dave Rennie gave him some extra days off to rest, but now it’s back to work as he joined the squad in Pretoria.

After landing at the airport, Ardie quickly rushed to the team, and they welcomed him in style. Some of the greeting styles he used with some players showed how he is the glue of the team.
The smiles on the players’ faces also gave insight into what kind of leader Savea is, one who unites and leads from the front. However, facing the Springboks on their home soil remains Ardie Savea’s greatest test as a captain. How he handles the rest of the tour, leading on and off the pitch, will surely show the world what kind of a leader he is.
Even before that, All Blacks fans already believed in Ardie and expressed their joy at seeing him with the team.
