Veteran coach Graham Henry believes that the All Blacks would not win the World Cup with their current level. The All Blacks produced a fine performance, securing a win over Ireland in Christchurch, and their display ignited faith among some fans.
However, the man who won the World Cup as coach in 2011 does not share the same view. He is convinced that some teams, like France and South Africa, are way ahead in the race. Surely, it takes a lot more than winning one game to become World champions, and that is what Henry explained.

Speaking on Sport Nation, Graham Henry played down the All Blacks’ first win under Dave Rennie.
“We’ve just got to improve, haven’t we? We’ve just got to keep on improving what we’re doing and develop our game,” he said.
“South Africa is superb, obviously, and the French are right up there. There are a lot of good sides around the world, and they’re stronger now than they used to be, so that’s the challenge, and it’s an exciting challenge.” Henry continued.
“We will not win big events with the current way of playing, we’ve got a huge improvement that needs to be made if we’re going to be competitive on the big stage,” he finished, leaving fans divided with his opinion.
