Saskia celebrated her husband Ardie Savea’s birthday in style, bringing back a memory from 17 years ago. It’s been a rollercoaster filled with love and looking ahead since Ardie and Saskia first fell in love.
At the time, they were not yet as famous as they are today, and the picture she shared speaks for itself. The two lovebirds were young, but one thing remained constant: their love for each other.
SASKIA CELEBRATED ARDIE SAVEA’S BIRTHDAY
On her Instagram, Saskia shared a memory from when they first fell in love over 17 years ago. Even though she posted late, after the birthday, she went down memory lane with a picture.
In the picture, Ardie wore a black suit while Saskia wore a beautiful white dress. The two looked happy, as she captioned it, pouring out her emotions in celebration of the big day.
“Happy belated birthday to my love ❤️ 17 birthdays together, thought a wee throwback of us as babies was necessary 🥰 love you so much ❤️ #33”, she said, celebrating with Ardie.
As she posted, fans and fellow celebrities came wishing Ardie a happy birthday.

Indeed, the current All Blacks captain is not growing any younger, as he is now in the last years of his playing career. Born on 14 October 1993 in Wellington, New Zealand, Ardie Savea turned 33 years on his 2026 birthday.
Now also at the peak of his career, both as an athlete and leader, Ardie’s eyes are on the 2027 Rugby World Cup to be held in Australia. With the All Blacks now years without the trophy, Ardie wants it back home.
Given his age, the chances are slim that he will make it to the next World Cup after 2027.
