Roger Tuivasa-Sheck finally breaks the silence after season-ending injury

New Zealand Warriors footballer Roger Tuivasa-Sheck has finally opened up after suffering a season-ending injury. It was a tough match against St George-Illawarra Dragons on Saturday, with Roger limping off after suffering an ACL injury.

After the game, many of Roger’s fans feared that he had suffered a career-ending injury, but it seemed he would be back soon. However, Roger has told his fans on Instagram about the severity of his injury and what the future looks like.

ROGER TUIVASA-SHECK OPENS UP AFTER INJURY

Speaking about his injury, the 32-year-old footballer was sure that he would not play this year.

“That’s my footy done this year,” he started.

“ACL confirmed. Tough to accept, but the season goes on,” he continued, confirming the ACL injury and also revealing how tough it was for him to accept it.

“We got something special going,” he continued, assuring fans of the special things still to come this season.

“Big love for all the messages,” he finished, thanking his fans, family and friends for the love they showed him following his injury.

WILL ROJER PLAY FOR THE NZ WARRIORS AGAIN

The 32-year-old star is in the final year of his contract, which means Roger will not play for the NZ Warriors again. For the next season, Roger will be heading to the United Kingdom, where he has signed a two-year contract with Wakefield Trinity.

Unfortunately, he might delay his debut as he recovers from his current injury. An ACL usually takes months to reach full fitness and match fitness.
