All Blacks halfback Cam Roigard suffered an injury blow that saw him removed from the team to face the Sharks in Durban. Undoubtedly one of the most important players in the All Blacks squad, Cam’s injury update did not sit well with most of the fans. They believed that without Roigard, the All Blacks tour would be in shambles, and their reactions explained for themselves.

Cam Roigard has suffered a calf issue, which will require him to rest at least for the upcoming Sharks game, as the team announced.

“Cam Roigard has been pulled from the side to play the Sharks as a precautionary measure. He has a tight calf, so the decision has been made to allow some time for that to settle. Cortez Ratima will take his place on the bench,” a team statement read.

ALL BLACKS FANS REACT TO CAM ROIGARD INJURY BLOW

After the All Blacks revealed the news on Instagram, they left fans gutted, but at least with some hope that he would be okay for the test matches.

@Salvio Dickson “My heart almost stopped for a second there😭😭😭😭”

@TheBoiTutu🦅🥷 “My heart was in my hands for a second 😭”

@Tony Lyall “WHY WOULD YOU SAY IT LIKE THIS! Jesus, all of NZ nearly had. A heart attack”

@Kyle Louer “Sheeeesh, I can do without a mini heart attack today, guys”

MORE INJURY BLOWS FOR THE ALL BLACKS

Despite Cam Roigard, who became the latest to withdraw from the All Blacks squad, Dave Rennie has other problems. Their major injury blow came when Billy Proctor got ruled out of the South Africa tour.

After Proctor comes the All Blacks’ all-time top try scorer in test rugby, Will Jordan, alongside star prop Tyrel Lomax.

With the days fast approaching the first test match against the Springboks, Rennie and his team have a lot to do to bring back the injured players.
