Born on 10 July 2002, the talented star wing Reece Walsh turned 24 years in 2026. Reece was born in Southport, Queensland, Australia, where he grew up. Growing up, he enrolled at Keebra Park State High School, where he showed early signs of his talent. After showing top signs, he joined Nerang Roosters seeking further development as a footballer. After impressing at Nerang Roosters, he sought professional development and played for the Queensland Murri under-16.

After Reece Walsh impressed during training with the Brisbane Broncos, he was included in the senior team’s training on a development contract. On the other side, Reece Walsh’s mother is Kahuti Campbell, but the two did not have a close relationship. Kahuti was affected by drugs, and at some point, Reece lost contact with his mother; she was an absent mother. However, Reece once revealed that having his mother affected by drugs also helped him to understand the dangers of drugs. Reece’s mother, Kahuti, is of Maori origin from Hastings, New Zealand, and is not currently in Reece’s life.

REECE WALSH’S CONTROVERSIES
Coming through in September 2021, Reece was found in possession of cocaine at a Surfers Paradise nightclub and was arrested. He was later handed a $5000 fine and suspended for two matches over the incident.

In January 2023, Reece was involved in a verbal altercation with Gold Coast player David Fifita. Come June that year, he got suspended for contrary conduct towards a match official after he said: “What the fuck do you mean, cunt?”
In 2025, he was also investigated after posting a video of himself punching a man, which he later clarified, saying they were playing. That same year, he shared another video drinking water from a toilet, which sparked a lot of talk among fans.
However, the Broncos later revealed that the toilet was new, and it was a bad model that failed.
