Alex Mitchell was born on 25 May 1997 and turned 29 in 2026. The talented scrum-half was born in Maidstone, England, where he grew up. He started playing rugby as a young boy, following in his brothers’ footsteps.

Growing up, he enrolled at Lymm High School, where he showed his top talent through the age groups. To advance his career, Alex Mitchell joined the Sale Sharks academy.

He grew rapidly and later joined Northampton Saints at 18. His move to the Saints proved to be a key one, as it went on to give him a professional debut. He grew in the academy and immediately became one of the best academy players.

PROFESSIONAL CAREER
