With three days to go, Rassie Erasmus has given the Springboks one option for their clash against the All Blacks. Of course, coming out of a humiliating defeat on their home soil, Rassie is not happy and demands more. His message is clear: the Springboks have lost, and now they have to win in Cape Town on 29 August.
As Rassie demands more, the All Blacks are not resting comfortably. They have since shown some of their training videos, and they are preparing as if they have not won anything; they want more than the 33-16 win.
Unfortunately, they have lost Anton Segner after he underwent minor surgery.
RASSIE ERASMUS’ MESSAGE TO THE SPRINGBOKS AGAINST THE ALL BLACKS
Speaking to Bokrugby, the Springboks coach faced the defeat in the eye with no shame. However, he is sure of the pressure the Springboks are now under, as they are trailing.
“We lost, and we have to win. Last week, there was pressure on both teams; this week, there is a little bit more on us. We have got much more to lose, ” Rassie said.
“While we are fully aware of the challenging task ahead, we have regrouped and identified the areas of our game we need to fix. So we are ready and excited for the match in Cape Town,” Rassie continued, emphasising the team’s readiness.
SPRINGBOKS FANS BELIEVE
After Rassie spoke about the Springboks task for the All Blacks game, fans showed their belief in the team. Some believed that they would as long as Captain Siya Kolisi starts the game.
