WILL JORDAN CAREER

Early in his career, Will Jordan faced a serious setback when he developed an ear problem that threatened to end his career. Fortunately, he managed to overcome the issue after more than six months.

When he got back to full fitness, he took off and made a name for himself both with the All Backs and at club level.

ALL BLACKS

Will ended his international career in 2017 with top performances at the Under-20 World Championship, where New Zealand won.

He was one of the most critical players in the final against New Zealand before he earned a place in the All Blacks squad.

In 2020, he made his All Blacks debut in the Bledisloe Cup clash of 2020 in Brisbane against Australia. Unfortunately, Will’s debut was bittersweet as they lost the game 24 – 22.

This bitter debut forged the talented attacker into a more ruthless and hungry player, and the following year, he came close to breaking the all-time single-Test record, finishing with four tries.

Since then, Will Jordan has been a constant name in the All Blacks squad whenever he is fit.

As of November 2025, Will Jordan sits in fourth place among the highest international players with the highest strike rates, having scored 44 tries in 55 games.

TASMAN AND CRUSADERS
