Springboks veteran hooker Bongi Mbonambi has poured his heart out on his engagement anniversary.
Bongi is celebrated as one of the most successful hookers of his generation, a double Rugby World Cup (RWC) winner.
He captained the Springboks during the 2023 RWC in France when Siya Kolisi was injured. Indeed, his rugby legacy is well known and celebrated.
However, Bongi is also making significant strides away from rugby as a father and husband. Celebrating such a special milestone in love, Bongi left fans laughing with how he celebrated.

On Instagram, Bongi expressed his love, showing the kind of man he is away from rugby.
“In 2016, I bagged me a bird”, revealing when he engaged with his wife, Stacey.
He continued celebrating Stacey’s motherhood and how, ten years later, “2026 the most beautiful mama bird,” he said.
“I choose you over and over again. 😍 She loves squeezing my ass 😊” he finished expressing his love and throwing a joke.
BONGI MBONAMBI’S FAMILY (WIFE AND KIDS)
It started with an engagement, but Bongi and Stacey took it further and had their wedding in August 2017.
Since then, they have had two daughters, whom Bongi is proud to be their father.
When he is away from rugby, Bongi loves some daddy duties, going out and playing with his daughters.
All this time, his wife, Stacey, would be closer supporting him like he does when Bongi plays.
