HENRY ARUNDELL EARLY LIFE
Henry Arundell was born at the then Royal Air Force base in Dhekelia, a Sovereign Base Area and British Overseas Territory. Growing up in the military setup, Henry grew into a tough, well-groomed young boy.
Born a natural athlete, Henry excelled in several sports outside rugby. He attended Holt VC Primary School in Wiltshire as a pupil. He finished and went on to participate at Beechen Cliff School in nearby Bath. At Beechen Cliff, he had already chosen rugby as his focus sport.
A few years later, he enrolled at an all-boys’ boarding school, putting him in the catchment area for London Irish’s academy, which he joined aged fourteen. At the London Irish academy, he developed his rugby talent, becoming one of the finest of his age mates.
He finished high school at Harrow, where he cemented his place among the country’s top talents.
PROFESSIONAL CAREER
After impressing in the London Irish academy, Henry Arundell joined the London Irish senior team in 2021. The following season, he impressed and became one of the key team players. Thanks to those top performances, he became the Premiership Rugby’s young player of the season for 2021–22.
After cementing himself as a regular in the first team, he signed a long-term deal at London Irish in 2022. Unfortunately, London Irish only lived until 2023 and went under administration.
The same year, Henry Arundell signed for Racing 92 and made his debut on 12 November 2023. Since then, he has played in several games, but failed to be the hit signing that Mans expected him to be.
