ÉMILIEN GAILETON’S AGE AND EARLY LIFE
Born on 13 July 2003, Elilien Gaileton turned 23 years in 2026. The talented centre and winger was born in Croydon, England, before moving to France. Coming to France, his family settled in Cahors, Lot, when he was three, and he stayed there for most of his life.
He showed a lot of athleticism as a boy across several sports, but settled for rugby. In 2008, he gave his full focus to rugby and joined Cahors Rugby to pursue professional development.

He stayed at Cahors Rugby for many years before becoming a big name in the academy. He sought further development and challenge, and he joined Agen in 2017. He immediately showed his quality to the point that the senior team coaches called him.
PROFESSIONAL CAREER
After becoming a top prospect in the academy, the Agen senior team coaches invited him to train. Gaileton went on to make his professional debut for Agen on 15 October 2021 against Rugby Club Vannes at 18.
He went on to play several games fr the club before interest in signing him grew nationwide. Three months from his debut game, Gaileton signed for Pau. Émilien hit the ground running immediately, scoring 14 tries in 24 matches, finishing as the league’s top try-scorer. Thanks to his excellent season performances, he was nominated for the Oscars Midi Olympique in both the Espoir and Oscar d’Or categories and included in the league’s team of the season.
The following season, he continued to develop as a key player. Unfortunately, he faced a difficult phase in his development, as other emerging stars competed with him.
Come the 2024–25 Top 14 season, Gaileton found his form and came back to his best.
FRANCE NATIONAL TEAM
With much praise and untapped talent, Émilien Gailleton rose through the ranks of the French national team. At 17, he was part of the France Under-20 2021 Six Nations Under-20s Championship. The following year, in 2022, he captained the Under-20 team at the Six Nations Under-20 Championship. The Senior national team could not ignore his development, and they called him.

In October 2022, he received a call from the French senior team for the Autumn internationals. He gained extensive experience working with the senior team, but did not make his debut.
