All Blacks star winger Leroy Carter has extended his contract with the New Zealand Rugby for the next three years. Despite a couple of impressive years with the New Zealand 7s, Carter has committed to the All Blacks.
Since joining the All Blacks, Carter has shown that he is a fine player who would contribute to the All Blacks’ success.
His 2025 proved to be a great year, with 6 appearances. After such a promising year, Carter wanted a more extended stay with the All Blacks and put one on paper until 2028.

WHAT CARTER SAID
Speaking of his decision to play for the All Blacks, Carter looked convinced that it was the best decision.
“I guess this is the sort of stage you start thinking about what’s next,” Parker said. “You don’t want to leave it too late, obviously. So it was a bit of a no-brainer for my family and me, we’ve got our family roots planted where we are, so it’s quite nice to have some security that’s where you’re going to be for the next couple of seasons.”
The All Blacks also announced Carter’s contract extension with a lot of joy. “Three more years of Boomfa! 💥✍🏼. Leroy Carter extends his contract with New Zealand Rugby until the end of 2028,” they said, leaving fans celebrating.
