Springboks and All Blacks legends, Tendai Mtawarira and Dan Carter, surprised fans with how close they have become. In his prime, Dan Carter was one of the best All Blacks and won a lot. Currently, he is the only player to have scored over 1,500 rugby union test points, with a total of 1,598. In doing so, he won the Rugby World Cup twice in 2011 and 2015.
On the contrary, Tendai Mtawarira came into the limelight, and that seemed to be the beginning of the Springboks’ dominance. His 2019 performances made him one of the best to do it on the world stage. However, it was always between New Zealand and South Africa, and their rivalry grew.
