Tamaiti Williams shared an emotional moment with the All Blacks squad after being ruled out of the 2026 season. The talented prop suffered discitis, an infection in one of the discs in his spine.
However, Tamaiti has vowed to come back, saying the doctors gave him the confidence that he would be back 100%. With that said, he still hopes to one day come back and join the All Blacks team.
Now that they are getting ready for their game against France in the Nations Championship on 4 July at One New Zealand Stadium.

As they continued preparations, Tamaiti Williams visited the team and showed some love. Indeed, it was a moment that triggered many emotions among the All Blacks.
He hugged them, talked to all of them, and showed his support for the great All Blacks team. With a new era among the All Blacks, new coach Dave Rennie and new captain Ardie Savea, the unity looks so high.
The morale and support they are showing each other are at another level, and now even the injured and sidelined players are showing it.
